Felipe Muñoz Hernández



About

Recently, I obtained a Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics at Universidad de Chile (UCh) and Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IPP), working under the direction of Joaquín Fontbona (UCh) and Vincent Bansaye (IPP). I was part of the group Population Evolution and Interacting Particle Systems (PEIPS) at the Centre de Mathématiques Appliquées of École Polytechnique, and also a member of the Chaire Modélisation Mathématique et Biodiversité (MMB). Previously, I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics at UCh.

Interests

Applied probability, stochastic models and stochastic algorithms. Also, software development and data science.
